This Service has been established
to widen the opportunities for health and medical sector professionals
to communicate directly with Australians. In doing so it is enabling
Australian Communities to make better informed health decisions
and seek out the assistance of Registered Private Health Practitioners
in their community to clarify information and available services.
The use of the Professional Directory Series and the Find a Practitioner
Service is available FREE OF CHARGE entirely for the purpose of
improving Health in Australian Communities.
About Us
Australian Rehabilitation Online maintains the Professional Directory
Series to inform consumers about the specialised services used more
and more by Registered Health Practitioners. By Practitioners promoting
their specialities and explaining information about their services,
consumers would benefit by:
- Knowing more about services, the qualifications and experience
of the Service Provider
- Be in an improved position to ask questions of the Practices
and Service Providers
- Know the differences between members of Professional Bodies
and the requirement of membership
- Knowing the extra training required and the consequent value
to be gained by choosing practitioners with specialised titles
or professional membership
This Site is not intended to be a substitute
for professional or medical advice or taken for medical diagnosis
or treatment. It is not intended that you delay the seeking of advice
or disregard any medical advice given in consultation. It is a service
offered to complement your health and rehabilitation search efforts
to locate practitioner services. The information has been posted
by individual practices and practitioners. Opinions and viewpoints
