Practitioners listed in the directories give an invitation to treat and not unless your appointment has been expressly confirmaed with the practitioner or practice staff, can it be considered that your request can or cannot be assisted. Where it is understood that there may be some factors beyond the control of the Practitioner that may prevent supply of a service, it is reasonable, in this case, to expect a re-referral within the Australian Context.
